Chris Hendershot and Samantha Polizzi are the proud owners of Family Fishing Adventures and are excited to bring this unique fishing experience for kids to the Annapolis area. Chris and Samm wanted to create an entertaining and immersive way for kids to learn how to fish, crab, and help preserve the Chesapeake Bay. All while enjoying the historic and scenic waters that surround the beautiful city of Annapolis.  Family Fishing Adventures is the culmination of that dream!

Captain Chris grew up fishing and crabbing in the waters of New Jersey and knew that there was a way to make it easier for kids to experience the thrill of reeling in a fish or hauling up a trap full of crabs. He wanted to create a kid friendly fishing trip that kept kids of all ages captivated through out the entire experience. From a young age Chris has always known that he wanted to own and operate a unique maritime business. Family Fishing Adventures gives kids and their families the chance to experience fishing and crabbing without having to spend the entire day on the water. The 1 hour and 45 minute trip that is offered 4 times each day gives kids the hands on experience they want without losing their interest. Chris gained his experience working with children and families since 2004 working for Pirate Adventures.  A unique family entertainment company that transforms kids into swashbuckling pirates aboard their mock pirate ship. Check it out here in Annapolis!

Samm greSamm Fishingw up by the water, spending her summers along the coast of New Jersey. Growing up she gained her sea legs on board her grandfather’s boats or competing in rowing. Although her fishing experience may not excite the avid angler, she makes up for that with her love of nature and the environment. She is passionate about all animals and leads by example when it comes to preserving our environment. Family Fishing Adventures teaches kids and families the importance of good catch and release techniques and why the marine species that inhabit our local waterways are vital to reviving the Chesapeake Bay!
